WHO IS TEJAS EASWAR, AND WHY SHOULD WE CHOOSE YOU?
Underneath my laid back, often quiet and joking exterior, I'm actually a romantic at heart! I take great pleasure in watching couples take the leap towards their futures and watching the path unfold before them.
I know what it's like to plan a wedding myself; I've been there.
My clients are usually drawn to the atypical style that I offer. While I understand trends and fit comfortably within what's popular, I also offer something outside of the norm. After all, who wants their special day to look like everyone else's?
I don't push posed shots. A lot of what you'll see is candid, entirely natural, and filled with emotion, along with occasional light guidance in order to capture you at your best.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes. While primarily based in the GTA, I do offer travel within Canada and abroad.
Within the GTA and Ontario, there are no travel fees. Outside of that, there may be instances in which travel fees may be waived.
If you are planning a destination wedding, it may require a custom package - have some information ready to discuss so that I am able to provide the most clear outline as to what to expect.
DO YOU COVER ALL TYPES OF WEDDINGS FROM ALL TYPES OF BACKGROUNDS?
Absolutely! Love is love.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DELIVER PHOTOS?
The typical contracted turnaround time for edited wedding photos is 61 days. However, I tend to be done within 10-20 days. Who wants to wait forever to see their photos?
With engagements, the return period for edits is usually 7-10 days.
WE'RE NOT SURE HOW MANY HOURS OF COVERAGE WE'LL NEED. CAN I UPGRADE TO MORE HOURS LATER?
Of course! In situations such as these, you can always select a package with less hours and upgrade later once the timetable for the day is confirmed.
And if you only need a little bit more in terms of time (not requiring a full package upgrade) there is also the option to add hours with an hourly rate.
DO YOU GIVE OUT RAW FILES?
No. You will receive converted images in HD JPEG. This will be for both the edited images and the originals. This is an industry standard.
However, if based on liability, in some extreme circumstances, raw images can be released albeit with a cost separate from the wedding photography service itself.
CAN WE SEE ALL THE PHOTOS FROM THE WEDDING?
Yes! While not a typical practice, I firmly believe that all the photos taken are yours. However, with regards to edited photos, I select only the best of the best and present those in a manner that accurately reflects my brand, style, and what will showcase your special day.
WHAT IS THE EXTENT OF YOUR EDITING AND WHAT CAN WE EXPECT?
Before booking, I recommend that you review my portfolio. What you will receive in terms of edited photos will be entirely consistent with what you see.
I will complete colour grading, minor blemish corrections and general touch ups. What I will not do, however, is Photoshop someone beyond recognition.
WHY SHOULD WE HAVE AN ENGAGEMENT SHOOT? WHAT'S THE POINT?
I think it's a nice way for us to get to know each other before the big day. An engagement shoot often helps make people feel more at ease in front of a camera.
From my end, it lets me learn your dynamic as a couple, as well as the best angles at which to capture you both at.
From your end, you get a series of professional keepsake photos which you can then use for your wedding websites and save the dates. Past couples have also used the engagement shoot to trial hair and makeup as well.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK BEFORE THE WEDDING?
I have luckily yet to miss a wedding. However, in the unlikely event that I am overly sick, I have many reliable and trusted contacts that I can lean on to shoot with me, or if necessary, take my place.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I GET?
A precise figure is hard to provide as this depends on a few factors.
This can include the length of time you have chosen for me to cover your day, and whether enough time has been allocated to the important sections, such as the couple's portrait session.
While travel fees aren't an issue, if there is travel time overlapping shooting time, that can also affect the output.
Ultimately, I shoot essentially non-stop to maximise the best chance of capturing as much as possible, and edit the best of the best from there.
CAN WE PROVIDE A SHOT LIST?
Absolutely. However, there are some things to consider.
First and foremost, if you choose to hire me, you're doing so because you like what you see. I much prefer focusing on moments not being missed versus an extensive list.
Secondly, weddings are unpredictable in nature. No guarantee is made that a specifically requested shot will be taken and/or delivered.
If you have a list of shots for family/group photos, by all means provide it as I won't be familiar with everyone. In that regard, I recommend giving the list to someone who knows who needs to be in each photo so that they can bring them in more efficiently. This will be helpful if there are a lot of group shots to be taken and if we are on a tight schedule.
CAN WE HOLD A DATE?
Yes. In order to hold a date, a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer of 50% is required, which goes towards the total cost of the select package.
